I bought these about a month ago and everything seemed ok. Sound, comfort, mic – all ok.
Then the ear part (can) broke off right where it connects to the headband. The part that is connected to the can and goes inside of the headband is super-cheap plastic.
I then noticed the other side of the headset was also cracked in the same exact spot!
I never stepped on these, threw them, etc….. just from putting them on and off the cheap, thin plastic starts to crack over(very little) time.
It’s impossible to glue, tape, or fix because of where the cracks/dislocations are located.
Total junk.

This headset brings great quality to all gaming.
The sound is crystal clear and the microphone is absolutely amazing!
The Comforting on the ears can be a bit of a nuisance after a while, but other than that this headset is strictly for pro gamers!

I have owned the Tritton 720, Turtlebeach x1 and Turtlebeach x41. For the price these are GREAT. Obviously not the surround sound the 720 or x41 offer but these sound and are more comfortable then the TB X1. Also if you happen to own a ps3 and xbox you wont need to buy 2 different headsets like with the Turtlebeach set.
If your looking to spend under $100 these are the best. For $100-$200 buy the Tritton 720 or Pro. If you want the best money can get then buy the Astros!

I just bought this about 2 months ago and the other day I notice cracking on the right side right above the headphone, it still works fine but am buying another headset for when this one breaks completely. Great sound really comfy but only last for a few months.

I was gonna get the turtle beach P21 but because of the discontinue I could not find them anywhere and no way gonna wait 3 weeks for the PX21 so decided to get the tritton AX 180. I loved these things no more keeping the volume down at night the sound quality is great. After about three weeks I went to put my headset on and the right speaker felt loose on my ear. I looked at it and there was a crack on the plastic above the speaker, it was so bad actually started tilting. I got some fabric and wrapped the cracked area very well. I continued to play and did so for about 3 hours without any problems. When I took the wrapping off that is when the plastic snapped off. I was pissed cause I was expecting at least 6-7 months that this thing would not break on me. I called the Tritton and they gave me a RMA# and still pissed cause it cost me about $15 to send it back to them. I should get them back on the 20th of april so let’s see what happens. I will not buy from the Tritton Technology ever again in the future when these break and I know they will then that’s it see how turtle beach will do.
