This bundle is great. Xbox 360 is alo the best and most reliable system this gen. Using the install to hard drive feature your 360 can last forever, whereas the ps3’s blu-ray will burn out in a year after the warranty went out. This is a great choice for all types of games. It has the best looking game on earth gears of war 2. Got 1080p movies that have better quality then blu-rays. Has netflix which is better on 360. Everything is better when it comes to xbox 360.

HAHA, Ok sooo first. I love this xbox360 bundle. one, the price is(on amazon when its NOT sold out) awesome. It comes with a whole bunch of stuff that would otherwise add up to a whole lot more money if you bought it all separately.

Both games are good titles but like what Jenkins mention about the damn HDMI wire not being included and the games being in the same case, those like the only two flaws about this bundle.

I mean come on, if your gonna include practically the entire mircosoft store in the bundle you midas well just add the hdmi cable. -__- i swear, companies are so dumb man.

Just bought our Xbox Elite two weeks ago and it scratched our MLB 2K10 disk (a $60 game). Customer service said to send in the console for repair (it will take 3 weeks?!?!) and they won’t replace the game since it’s not a Microsoft game. Not only are we out $60 after having just bought this disk-eating console, the box will be in repair for longer than we’ve had it. After reading the complaint boards about their repair time, I wish I had looked at these more seriously before buying. In contrast, we’ve had our Wii for 3 years and absolutely love it…no problems whatsoever. Buyer beware!!!

I traded in my xbox about a month ago due to hardware issues and bought a Ps3.

While the system is a lot quieter, has a blu-ray player, and allows you to browse the web, the gaming aspect is highly inferior to the 360. The online is horrible, and besides Uncharted and MLB the show, it can’t compete as far as games.

I picked up this bundle this weekend (traded my PS3) and needless to say I’m estatic. Two great exclusives to go along with good ole xbox live was a no brainer. Anyone who likes playing GREAT GAMES should not think twice about this system. Ps3 has simliar issues with their hardware if you do your research, so don’t believe the hype that Sony has a perfect product. Don’t be deceived, Xbox is better hands down.

This review is similar to the one I wrote for the Winter Bundle. Yes, this Spring Bundles offers 2 better games. Nonetheless, nothing changes in terms of what you have to think about before you buy.

When you buy a new console you have to think about the following: available features, past games, present games, future games, reliability, and cost of ownership. After some research and thinking, you will see that in the year 2009 and beyond, Xbox 360 is simply a bad choice compared to the PS3.

    Features: PS3 wins

This Elite bundles gives you two decent games, though Halo3 ODST is more like an expansion than a full game. The PS3 on the other hand, gives you a Blu-ray player, built-in Wi-Fi, 7.1 surround sound support, more advanced HDMI support, 3D support this summer, and more.

    Past games: Xbox 360 wins.

Xbox 360 has better games from 2005 to 2007. This is because Xbox 360 has a one year head start and the PS3 presented early programming difficulties for developers. It should be noted, too, that games released in 2005 to 2007 now look old and dated compared to the likes of Metal Gear Solid 4, Killzone 2, and Uncharted 2 on the PS3.

    Present games: 2008 to 2010: PS3 wins

Multiplatform games look a tiny, tiny bit better on Xbox 360, but the differences are so insignificant that game critics score PS3 and Xbox 360 versions the same. However, PS3 exclusives tend to look better, sound better, and receive higher critical acclaim. Uncharted 2 on the PS3 is now receiving a 96% average rating from oer 100 publications! In fact, PS3 has the two highest rated HD exclusive games: Uncharted 2 and LittleBigPlanet. Don’t forget the most epic game of any platform: God of War 3. PS3 also tend to be more varied with games like Flower, Heavy Rain, etc. that are so completely different they don’t fit into any genre.

    Future games: PS3 wins.

The PS3 is a more powerful console using higher capacity disks (Blu-ray) while Xbox 360 is less powerful and uses lower capacity disks (last-generation DVD). In light of current games and console capabilities, the PS3 has a brighter future than Xbox 360. If you want to play games with the best graphics, the best sounds, the most content (due to Blu-ray disks), the largest multilayer shooters, or the most MMOs, you have no choice but the PS3. Furthermore, if you want games that make you feel like playing a blockbuster movie (Metal Gear Solid4, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, Heavy Rain ), then the PS3 is the best.

    Reliabilty: PS3 wins.

We all know that Xbox 360 is still the most unreliable console in the market, Jasper or not. After 3 years, owners of Xbox 360 are more likely to have to pay for repairs than owners of other consoles.

    Cost of Ownership: PS3 wins

Owners of Xbox 360 are more likely to pay higher costs for accessories: Wi-Fi, hard-disk drives upgrades, batteries for controllers. They also have to pay $50 a year just to play online. Paying for repairs after 3 years of ownership must also be considered. Microsoft seems to do everything possible to nickle and dime their customers. Cost of ownership is something you must consider if you want to buy this bundle for kids.

So all in all, this bundle does nothing to make Xbox 360 a better choice than the PS3 slim.
