This upload was a request from a Gamefaqs user, in this video you see an F14A Tomcat, at about minute 3 you can see the enemy AI pursuing me in what appears to be a MIG 29, I had a bit of trouble shaking him off. Video Rating: 4 / 5

@JCnReby I agree the story is shit, everything in between the actual flying or replays is shit but the part that matters is great in my opinion. Still, im nnot trying to start some flame war between games, ive never understood why people do that.

Did you never learn the most basic trick of dogfighting in an F-14? Let him get close, then hit the brakes and he’ll flight right by. Then, lock is easily attained.

@element1108 if your having trouble evading missiles try waiting until they get inside the small circle on your radar and then engage your flairs this should help some.
@fcolon1976 yea i did but i had to restart the whole campaign so that i could get the f22 for the 1 or 3 last missions.
Dident know how to get it.
Now i have beaten the game on every lvl and unlocked all airplanes.
And very mature comment sir u must be at the age of 10:)
What are those glove vanes doing there in a dogfight? As far as I know they are automatically extended above mach 1.4 to compensate the nose-down pitching effect and they can be extended manually only with wings swept full aft. On the video none of these circumstances are present, so the glove vanes shouldn’t be extended.
@ColeHimself I find evading missiles in this game dreadfully difficult! It’s what ruined it for me and I’ve played LOADS of flight sims (falcon, dcs series) on PC. A nice effort for a console based “flight sim” non the less. Not as pretty as ace combat, but not the wargasm … not a fan of the wargasm.
