The game was more or less a disappointment. Lacks story, originality, and excitement. You’re only playing this game because there’s nothing else better you have on the shelf to attend to. Don’t buy this and make the same mistake I did. Wait for FF13.

I was pretty excited for this game, I am a JRPG nut.

i love eternal sonata, lost odyssey, and infinite undiscovery and many more so i know what makes a good JRPG and thats story.

I think this JRPG failed at that. Its a simple story and it gets interesting at disc 2 but the way it was presented was not very well.

the screen shows 2 characters on the screen and they talk and you have to push A after each dialog sentence. not only does that get repetitive, there is no dynamic interaction when you have 2 characters on the screen talking to each other, and then if someone else is going to talk, 1 person will leave the screen and the other person will enter the screen and may say one word like “hmmm” and then leave and the other character will come back and you will think “WTF was that”

its very static in dialog so the story is not great.

however i am a JRPG nut and will buy any JRPG that will come out on the 360 but compared to blue dragon this is on my list as the worse so far.

maybe a $[...] game [....] in a few years id wait to pick it up then

. So I bought this game because of the art, Hyung-Tae Kim is awesome. Anything with him involved I try to get, I don’t know when I’ll play this game, I’m sure its good, but the art was the selling point

Anyone who enjoys KRPGs (Korean Role-Playing Games) should check out MagnaCarta2 for Xbox360. Sure, the story’s nothing new, and the battle system, while fun, is not incredibly different, but this is a fun game to play. The graphics are quite nice, and the English voice-acting isn’t terrible (although I do wish the original language with English subs had been included. Oh well . . . .). If you are a fan of these types of games, you should at least rent it and see what you think.

This game while it is not the graet RPG I have been waiting for dose a very good job of keeping you entertained. Aside from the main story it dose not give you alot to do, The card game in FF8 or building your castle in never winter nights was one of my favorite parts of those games. While the game is good I do not think people will remember it two years from now or even after the big titles come out this winter/spring. The grafics are good and my first play through I had no bugs/freezes.I would recomend not downloading the extra content on XBL as the ultamate weapons take away all challenge to the game. The story is a bit generic but bearable, and not as childish as some JRPGs. The team set up is balanced but the lvling system of auto assigning all stats except for your abiliteis witch are limited leaves me wishing for more. If you need a video game to hold you over until Dragon age, Mass Effect 2 or anything else comes out I would recomend this or look at borderlands if you need something to pass the time.
